The Tsingy Rouge (red tsingy) is a red laterite stone formation along the Irodo River in the Diana Region of northern Madagascar, about 60 km south of Diego Suarez. Although the shapes are similar, the formation has no relationship to the hard, sharp limestone tsingy elsewhere, and is quite fragile.
